David Mertz was promoted to the position of Vice President effective on January 24, 2024. Dave’s new role will include his continued oversight of the Single Family Housing Division along with Jason Drouse.

Dave will continue to manage Simplex’s sister company Cornerstone Building Solutions a local residential home builder in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Dave will also have involvement in regards to special projects that are both internal and external to the company’s sales operations.

Dave’s career at Simplex started in August 1999 as a Sales Manager of Residential Sales. He was promoted to Vice President of Sales in January 2006 and has continued in that role until becoming Vice President of Sales and Marketing in January of 2018.

I am excited for what these changes will bring as Simplex works towards preparing for the future of our business operations.
