Dave Nice brings 21 years of experience to his position as Engineering Supervisor at Simplex Industries. The last 12 of those years have been with Simplex.

As part of his day-to-day responsibilities, Dave checks drawings, trouble-shoots engineering issues, serves as a resource for Sales, Purchasing, Service and Production as well as his Engineering team. He also maintain liaisons with third-party inspection agencies, performs structural calculations, maintains systems approvals to insure they are current and up to date with the current codes adopted by the states in which Simplex builds, oversees the design processes of projects, assists drafting, does truss design, code research, assist with the controlling and distributing of the state and third-party labels affixed to Simplex units, develops new construction methods such as the hinged rafter systems and alerts all departments of any upcoming code changes that may affect the products built at Simplex.

As busy as he is at work, he maintains an equally busy life at home with his wife and two children, including being active as a Cub Scout leader.

Simplex is a nationally recognized leader in the modular home and commercial modular industry.
