Ryan Mayes serves as Chief Financial Officer at Simplex Industries. Ryan joined the company in 2012 and brought with him extensive accounting experience and expertise. Ryan has worked in all different roles within the Simplex Accounting Department, and he rose to his current role as CFO in 2021. Never afraid to be hands on, Ryan has also spent some weekends working on the production line in order to get familiar with the modular process, and the product that the company provides. Prior to joining Simplex Ryan worked in Public Accounting, and is a former member of the PICPAs (Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants).
On a daily basis, Ryan is responsible for directing all aspects of Simplex Industries Accounting, Banking, Human Resources, Payroll, and Information Technology functions. This includes being responsible for all of the company’s insurance renewals, including Property & Casualty, Workers Compensation, Health Insurance, and all other lines of insurance and employee benefit offerings. In addition to that, Ryan supervises the office staff and handles all of the office management functions as well. Ryan brings more than 10 years of accounting and progressive management experience to his senior role at Simplex.
In addition to accounting for the hundreds of custom single family residential homes that have come down the production line to be delivered to individuals and families all over the northeastern United States, Ryan has also been involved with the below recent multi-family construction projects:
In the Philadelphia area:
31 Brewerytown, Philadelphia (112), four story luxury apartments),The Pointe and The Hub, Philadelphia (251 high-end residential units/retail space); Bridgeview, Philadelphia (75 luxury waterfront townhomes) Luna on Pine (5 story (116 unit student housing project).
In New Jersey:
Morris Plains Apartments, Northvale Senior Residences, Franklin Lakes Supportive housing, Senior Housing at Saddlebrook (all of these projects are large scale Senior Living projects)
In New York:
Cottage Gardens (Phase III) 70 living units, The Homestead, Westbury, NY.( 76 living units), Gansett Meadows, Amagansett, NY.(36 living units), Laurel Homes, Rosylyn Heights, NY.,(74 living units)
Other Significant Projects:
Leyden Woods Greenfield, Massachusetts, over 200,000 square feet (200 living units), Mansfield University Dormitory Project, Pennsylvania, over 150,000 square feet of student housing including 684 beds, and many others.
A Binghamton, NY native, Ryan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Keystone College, and an MBA with a Dual Concentration in Accounting and Operations Management from The University of Scranton. In his free time you will most likely find Ryan outdoors spending family time with his wife and three children. Some of their favorite activities include hiking, hunting and fishing, skiing and snowboarding.
