F or the past 14 years Lee Burke has assumed the responsibilities of directing all aspects of Simplex Industries financial operations. In addition to all aspects of Accounting, those duties include supervising Human Resources, Information Technology and the complex insurance decisions a company the size of Simplex faces on a daily basis. Lee brings a total of 28 years of experience and expertise to his duties.

A member of several professional organizations, including The Pennsylvania Society of Public Accounts, The National Association of Tax Professionals, Lee is also an Internal Revenue Service Registered Tax Preparer.

Lee is a graduate of Wilkes-College in Wilkes-Barre, PA with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. He also holds a Masters in Taxation from Kings College, also of Wilkes-Barre.

As one of the largest and most successful companies of its kind, Simplex Industries and its sister companies demand a great deal of Lee Burke’s time and attention. Outside of work, Lee enjoys spending time with his wife of 37 years as well as their 3 children and 3 grandchildren. He also serves as the Treasurer of the Waldorf Park German American Federation of Scranton.
